News: Race to the clouds Nandi Hills

Radha Selvraj shattered the erstwhile Nandi Hill Climb record by almost three seconds at the pulsating second edition of "RACE TO THE CLOUDS" held at Nandi Hills. Driving the tricky course for the first time, Radha adapted at an alarming rate and made things look easy behind the wheel of his well-recognised track Esteem, which took the MRF Super Saloon Challenge title just a week back with Sailesh Bolisetti behind the wheel (More info here)

Hitting the course for practice, Radha managed to set up the suspension for the steep inclines in a jiffy while Karthik Reddy of Race Dynamics fine-tuned the engine management masterminded by the RD0601 petrol standalone. Radha managed a cracking 1.29.23 in his first practice run, surpassing the earlier record of 1.30.34 posted at the last year's event! Knowing well the intricacies of the course, the man from Madras was confident of improving his time further.

Come race day, everyone was waiting for the orange Esteem running under Race Dynamics' colours to tear the track, and so it did. Radha faced some steering issues on his first run, managing 'only' a 1:30 run as he fought to avoid the rock face thanks to a problematic steering rack. Some speculated that it was the best he could do, but they were proved wrong. In his unrestricted class run, Radha clocked a blistering 1:27:47, shattering the existing record by almost three seconds in the process.

Race Dynamics also wrapped up the Diesel Open class, with Radha behind the wheel once again, piloting a Swift Diesel running the Race Dynamics Diesel Ultimate ECU to a 1:40 run. Despite its disadvantageous smaller capacity, the RD-powered Swift managed to outrun stiff competition from much more powerful machines like the Hyundai Verna and Getz CRDIs. Driving the same car, Akshay Joshi, the owner of the Swift in question, took second place in diesel open by clocking a 1:41 run, confirming the car's sheer pace thanks to the RD Diesel Ultimate ECU's aggresive and consistent engine control.

Be it petrol or diesel, Race Dynamics engine management systems ensured that each engine's maximum potential was realised whilst compensating for the drastic altitude differences, ensuring consistent and reliable engine performance, run after run. This just goes to prove that Race Dynamics indeed uses motorsport as a test-bed for all its products, ensuring that when YOU trust your 'pride and joy' with Race Dynamics' products, they never ever let you down!
