Last year's 1400cc Group N champion Sujay Naidu took home the 2009 INRC (Indian National Rally Championship) 1600 championship title with four podium finishes to his credit. The Bangalore lad managed to finish atop the podium in the Kolkata round while finishing second in Coimbatore, Bangalore and Nashik. The final round of the championship- Rally of Chikmagalur was crucial for Sujay as he need just five points to wrap up the Championship and he just about made it with a series of misfortunes including an early puncture, failed brakes etc threating to hamper his championship hopes. Congrats to Sujay, great going!
